About the Awards
The CIO & C-suite Awards Africa spotlights those who have not only met but exceeded the challenges of their roles, carving a path of excellence that inspires the entire industry. We believe in recognizing not just success, but the journey undertaken to achieve it, the lessons learned, and the innovations embraced.
Through the years, the CIO Awards has become a beacon of excellence to technocrats all around Africa mainly because we were privileged to stand on the shoulders of corporate giants like you and other technical partners including EY, PWC, Deloitte and KPMG, who consistently ensure the credibility of the awards.
Last year we were able to expand the CIO Awards to Senegal, Egypt, Ghana, South Africa and Kenya and again, with the support of credible organizations like yours, we will be including more countries for this year’s edition.
The CIO & C-Suites Club Africa Summit 2024
Across the African continent, the CIO Club Africa is the preeminent community for technology leaders. The Club is dedicated to encouraging cooperation, knowledge exchange, and professional growth among its distinguished members. Our platform acts as a crucial conduit between the OEMs, governmental organizations, and other significant stakeholders and CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CISOs, and Heads of IT from a variety of industries. The Club was established on four strategic pillars: Empowerment, Advocacy, Research and Development and a Think-tank.
Ladies in Tech 2.0
Ladies in Tech Network is an initiative of the CIO Club to empower African women working in technology and other sectors to connect, collaborate and pivot. Ladies come together in a supportive setting to network, unwind and exchange viewpoints on diverse topics. To achieve the objectives of building a more diverse, inclusive, and egalitarian technology industry, programs like Ladies in Tech are essential. These programs recognize the enormous impact that diversity has on creativity and want to make sure that everyone in the tech industry, regardless of gender, has the chance to contribute and thrive.
CIO & C-Suites First Friday Initiative
To foster a culture of continuous learning, creativity, and knowledge exchange in the technology industry and bonding amongst members, the CIOs 1st Friday is a vibrant platform of the CIO Club Africa created for IT leaders across industries to occasionally get together to exchange ideas, work together on projects, and remain current with the newest developments in the ever-changing tech industry. Technology professionals, key stakeholders and sponsors come together on the first Friday of every quarter to explore new trends, discuss the newest technologies, network, and take part in practical fun activities in a relaxed ambience.
